Formed
in 1969 specifically for 100E owners, the Ford Sidevalve
Owners' Club soon expanded to include all small
sidevalves dating back to 1932. Today the FSOC boasts around 1500 members worldwide. It is a non-profit making mutual trading organisation run entirely by unpaid volunteers.Member benefits include technical advice, a bi-monthly award-winning magazine - 'Sidevalve News' - and Club regalia. There is a thriving spares operation, currently turning over around 3,500 items per year, and the Club has completed 90 remanufacturing projects. Club events are largely down to the enthusiastic organisational skills of individual members, but recent years have seen a spate of high-profile get-togethers. Social gatherings also play an important role within the Club and there are a number of UK area groups offering mutual support with restoration projects as well as regular friendly get-togethers. There are also overseas co-ordinators in North America, Europe and Australasia; for details of those in your area, please contact the FSOC Enquiries service. The Club houses it spares and Regalia at its central stores. The buildings were purchased in the early 1990's and have been refurbished and extended since there purchase.
Although run by volunteers, the FSOC is a registered
company with independently audited accounts, and prides
itself on sensible and prudent management. To find out
