| The cheapest car on sale in Britain
in the 1950s, the 103E was essentially a stripped-down
version of the earlier Anglia, but fitted with the larger
1172cc engine from the discontinued Prefect models.
Painted bumpers and a steel - rather than Bakelite -
dashboard were examples of some of the cost-cutting
involved. Other models catered for by the FSOC Anglia, Prefect and Popular Register include the E93A and E493A Prefect, the E04A and E494A Anglia, and commercial derivatives such as the E04C/E494C vans. Click on the link to obtain the data sheet (PDF)
