Popular 103E
Anglia E04A/E494A
Prefect E93A/E493A
5Cwt Vans E04C/E494C
1953-1959

Engine 1172cc; Max Power 30 bhp @ 4,000 RPM; Max speed 61 mph; Acceleration 0-50 24 seconds;
Number Produced 155,000

The cheapest car on sale in Britain in the 1950s, the 103E was essentially a stripped-down version of the earlier Anglia, but fitted with the larger 1172cc engine from the discontinued Prefect models. Painted bumpers and a steel - rather than Bakelite - dashboard were examples of some of the cost-cutting involved.

Other models catered for by the FSOC Anglia, Prefect and Popular Register include the E93A and E493A Prefect, the E04A and E494A Anglia, and commercial derivatives such as the E04C/E494C vans.
