1960 Ford Prefect 107E 997cc. £6500 ono.
Selling my Ford Prefect 107e, Rosie. Original 997cc OHV Kent engine/4-speed manual gearbox. These cars are getting quite rare. First registered June 1960. I've owned her for 3 years with no trouble or breakdowns. No suspicious sounds, smoke, or major leaks, just minor surface rust. Number plates are non-transferable, I suspect these are re-issues. 244XUU .Brake servo. Comes with a spare wheel and tire iron. Recent work: Dynamo rebuild, brake master cylinder, vacuum wiper motor service, grille badge, boot script, exhaust deflector, glovebox lock, choke cable, and headlamp gaskets. Issues: small hole in boot floor, pitted chrome bumpers, dent and scratches on nearside wheel arch and door, scratches on passenger window, and rust on inside rear door. Runs well, starts on the button, and has been my daily driver for those 3 years. Cheap to insure, MOT, road tax exempt, ULEZ compliant. Viewing encouraged. Sold as seen, no guarantee given. Owned for 6 months. Stator motor overhauled, a new battery and leads plus brakes checked etc. Tidy inside and out. Before being garaged many years ago the engine/transmission/doors/wings/bonnet and electrics were refitted/refurbished and the interior refurbished with door cards, interior panels, roof lining and carpets. Inspired from Lotus Mk6 1950's Ford Pop. All engine and gearbox rear axle (split), steering column, prop shaft, torque tube fits. Wheels 15", rear 16". Twin SU on aquaplane manifold, lcoil over shockers all round. Currently SORN awaiting completion of rebuild. 1947 Anglia E04a - price reviewed
Due to having too many projects and not enough room it’s time to sell my 1947 Ford anglia e04a. Fitted with the larger 10hp engine rather than the original 8hp. Since owning it’s had the radiator professionally restored. A new wiring loom made and fitted (indicators and rear lights need finishing). The car starts and stops. Will need a new battery. The car has previously had welding done as seen from the red oxide there is surface rust and only one small section of rot to address which is under the vacuum tank.
