1938 Ford 7W Ten

Four door with sliding roof and opening windscreen. I have owned this for over 14 years and have driven 18000 miles; it has travelled to Spain twice and never let me down. During this my ownership it has been meticulously maintained. (I can email you my service schedule over this time). The car has been resprayed in Ford Galaxy Blue which is very similar to its original Coronation Blue. The interior has been replaced before I had it but still looks good. I am still using it for local shows but as I am getting older am finding difficulty with the narrow doors so will be replacing with a two door Ford Sidevalve upright I would be happy to deliver it within the UK as it does drive well. 704 XWA, 1956 100E Prefect Deluxe
Registered new in 1956 in North West London. In 1967 owned by Mr. Bouquet of Wembley, possibly the original owner. Original documentation : insurance policy, MoT Certificate and logbook copy. In 1969 she was laid-up in a garage until his death in 2021. Bought and restored by an enthusiast in Sherborne, Dorset. First registered SLX 986, re-registered on age-related plate due to time in storage. Sympathetic restoration and mechanical rebuild, with bills and receipts of over £4,000. Restoration including engine rebuild, gaskets, hoses, ignition, panels, wing, sills, braking system, cooling system overhaul, new radiator, exhaust, fuel pump, wheels powder coated, tyres, front springs, suspension tops, carpets and repaint in original black, superb chrome, leather renovated and repaired. Hide Food and leather glue included in sale to continue care. Front passenger seat, while serviceable, would benefit from further restoration. In 2023 she passed her first MoT in 55 years with no advisories. Currently owned by Mr Watson, as almost identical to his first car. She has been looked after and lightly used during his ownership. 1953 Ford E493a Prefect / registration - WNO791 - price update £4,950
Runner in very good, clean condition; a very solid car throughout. Engine runs well. Carries its original Essex-issued registration and has its original logbook. 86, 000 miles on clock, but car and engine rebuilt in early 1990s. Runs the original 6-volt electrical system. Stainless steel exhaust system. New 6-volt 117AH ‘cold-cranking’ Lincon 501 battery fitted in May 2025. Fuel system very recently overhauled including fuel tank, petrol pump, fuel pipes. Cylinder head skimmed, engine de-coked and new gaskets fitted. Complete new distributor assembly fitted. Has electronic condenser for improved reliability.
