The Sidevalve Register – For Members and Non-Members

 

To help preserve Sidevalves and their history, the club maintains a register of vehicles.

 

This database includes:

​

• Current and past ownership history

• Upgrades and modifications

• Vehicle details (engine and chassis numbers, Briggs Body Codes, Trim Codes, mileages, accessories, etc.)

• Notes of general interest for present and future owners

We encourage all owners—whether members of the club or not—to register their Sidevalve.

​

Club Members: Please complete the Registration Form with as much detail as possible.

 

Non-Members: You are also welcome to register. Simply tick the “Non-Member” box on the form.

Once registered, our team of volunteer Registrars will share any information already held about your vehicle (excluding personal details of previous owners). This applies whether your Sidevalve is standard, modified, or a period special.

Important Notes for Completing the Vehicle Registration Form

​

• One car at a time: You can only register one vehicle per submission.

  • Complete the form for your first vehicle, then save and restart the form for any additional cars.

  • If you’re short on time, just submit your first vehicle and return later to add the others.

• Smart form: The form will adapt its questions based on your earlier answers.

• Vehicle eligibility: All standard vehicles and most period specials (and their variants) are included.​

• Formatting details:

  • Start all names and addresses with CAPITAL letters.

  • If your address is in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, or Wales, enter “UK” in the Country field (not “GB”).

• Photo attachments:

  • Maximum size: 3MB per photo.

  • Watch for a red warning message if your photo is too large—it can be easy to miss.
